To those who had registered with payment, please reach the venue before 8.30am. Pairing for Round 1 will be posted outside the playing area from 7.30am onwards.
There will be no confirmation of players process. All players will be allowed into the playing area (School canteen) at 8.30am. Round 1 starts at 9am.
The school canteen is open from 8am to 2pm to cater for Breakfast and Lunch up to 500 pax (300 children + 200 parents). So, you didn't need to go out for your meals. Just buy your food from the school canteen.
Recording of moves is optional. No deduction of time, however, a player who doesn't record the move can't file a claim that is related to chess moves (that use notation as evident). Hence, I advise all players to record their moves for (i) own protection during play, and (ii) own analysis after play.
The school is located
There is no extra allocation for any walk-in, so you don't need to try your luck for a slot to play in the event.
